Parnaioca Beach

Parnaioca Beach

Choose between freshwater or saltwater. At Parnaioca Beach, you can enjoy both. The setting is perfect for those who love the sea but can't stand the salty smell. It's hard to choose where to enjoy the most time: the waters of the Atlantic Ocean or the lagoon formed by the freshwater flowing down the Parnaioca River. When in doubt, enjoy both at the same time! It seems unbelievable, but it's possible! The river meets the sea amidst several rocks, forming a kind of natural whirlpool. It's hard to leave without relaxing a bit in the small waterfall.

Parnaioca Beach has golden sand, rough seas, and beautiful vegetation with almond trees providing shade. Along the 1-kilometer-long stretch of sand, you'll also see the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, some ruins of old farms, and the village that once stood on the beach. There's no electricity or cell phone signal in the area. A few residents remain and offer camping, especially for adventurers exploring the island on foot. There are also no street vendors or stalls.

Parnaioca Beach is part of the Island Tour itinerary. The average tour time is 6 hours, with one hour spent at each island or beach. A stop for lunch at a restaurant chosen by our team is also common. Because it's on the open ocean, the Island Tour can only be completed in ideal sea conditions. Therefore, prioritize this route. The following day, the speedboats may no longer operate the tour.
