Maguariquessaba Beach

Maguariquessaba Beach

Maguariquessaba Beach is very long and beautiful, with a generous stretch of soft sand, preserved Atlantic Forest, and its coconut and almond trees provide good shade.

Its clear, greenish, warm waters make snorkeling a must-do activity for those seeking to be enchanted by the seabed and its inhabitants, such as starfish, coral, and turtles.

It is one of the best structured in Enseada do Sítio Forte, with inns and restaurants, and is very visited by boats that take tours around Ilha Grande, in particular the Meia Volta and Volta Ilha routes, which stop here for lunch, in search of delicious caiçara dishes.

A gastronomic curiosity is that here in Maguariquessaba there is a marine farm where oysters, mussels (shellfish), and coquilles are cultivated, making the local cuisine even more special.
