Grumixama Beach

Grumixama Beach

Grumixama Beach is known for its calm, clear waters and a generous stretch of sand. It has been voted one of the most beautiful beaches on Ilha Grande, comparable to the beauty of Caribbean beaches. Its name is related to the presence of several grumixama trees, a fruit typical of the region.

The beach is perfect for swimming and boasts a coastline ideal for snorkeling. Surrounded by lush vegetation, it's a charming spot for nature lovers, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Visitors are advised to bring their own food, as there is no on-site infrastructure. Grumixama Beach is adjacent to Lagoa Azul and is part of the Half-Turn Island Tour Itinerary.
